Provided is a power generation device in which carbon dioxide is fixed and energy can be recirculated and reused.　This energy-recirculating power generation device (5) includes a power generation unit (501), an electrolyzing unit (500), and a carbon dioxide fixing unit (502). The power generation unit (501) includes a first power generation unit (511). The first power generation unit (511) includes a combustion unit (5111), a power generator (5112), and a gas exhaust unit (5113). The combustion unit (5111) combusts a fuel to generate thermal energy. The first power generation unit (511) converts the thermal energy into drive force to drive the power generator (5112) and generate power. The gas exhaust unit (5113) exhausts carbon-dioxide-containing gas generated by the combustion. The electrolyzing unit (500) uses electricity generated by the power generation unit (501) to electrolyze a sodium chloride aqueous solution and generate a sodium hydroxide aqueous solution. The carbon dioxide fixing unit (502) includes a gas supply unit (521) and a carbon dioxide fixing reaction unit (522). The gas supply unit (521) supplies the carbon-dioxide-containing gas exhausted by the gas exhaust unit (5113) to the carbon dioxide fixing reaction unit (522). The carbon dioxide fixing reaction unit (522) brings the carbon-dioxide-containing gas into contact with a fixing reaction solution to fix the carbon dioxide.
