An inspection assistance device provided with an acquisition unit for acquiring an inspection list that includes one or more inspection items of the object to be inspected, an input unit for accepting a user's operation, a notification unit for notifying an indication to inspect the inspection items, a time-measuring unit for acquiring an inspection time from the timing of an inspection start operation until the timing of an inspection completion operation, and a determination unit for determining whether or not the inspection results of the inspection items by the user satisfy a prescribed inspection condition or acquiring information of whether or not these satisfy the prescribed inspection condition, the determination unit outputting an alert to the notification unit when the inspection results do not satisfy the prescribed inspection condition.
