Method for the quantitative representation of the blood flow in a tissue or vein region based on a signal of a contrast agent injected into the blood, whereby - at successive times several individual images (4) of the signal emitted by the tissue or vein region are recorded and stored, - for corresponding pixels of the individual images (4) are compared with intensities of the signal from different points in time, the maximum intensities of the signal for these pixels are determined at different times and the maximum intensities for these pixels are displayed.
