Electric instruments often have the advantage of being less sensitive to climatic variations and of being less bulky, especially for violins, violas, cellos, double basses and viols, for example. It is therefore a matter of designing electric instruments for the quartet and others, without a sound box, which have the quality of not influencing the musician's playing. Listening to these instruments seem to be equipped with a sound box. Musicians who play these electric instruments, in pizzicati or on the bow, rediscover the sensations of their acoustic instruments.
