A method for providing a sandboxed environment in an Android system to protect user privacy. The steps comprise: an analysis module starting an environment simulator and establishing a virtual system environment (S1); an execution module starting, in the virtual system environment, an application program to be tested, and using said application program according to execution commands in a pre-set operation command group (S2); the analysis module retrieving, in real time, a running log of said application program, and identifying feature information according to a feature library (S3); when corresponding feature information is identified according to the current execution command, replacing another execution command in step S2, and recording the feature information (S4); and the analysis module aggregating the recorded feature information, and compiling, according to a pre-assigned value of each piece of feature information, statistics about the degree of threat to enable a user to make a determination (S5). By means of the method, malicious behaviors of illegal application programs can be effectively detected, thereby reliably protecting the information security of a user, so as to prevent the user from suffering from security problems such as economic losses.
