A fire extinguishing system, comprising a manned/unmanned aerial vehicle, airborne equipment, airborne fire extinction and rescue equipment, and ground firefighting equipment and a security vehicle, said manned/unmanned aerial vehicle being provided with airborne equipment, and/or airborne fire extinction and rescue equipment. The ground firefighting equipment and security vehicle comprise control and communication equipment, ground firefighting equipment, a security vehicle and other equipment; the airborne equipment comprises a transmitting device and also comprises one or more of: reconnaissance equipment; loudspeaker equipment; the airborne fire extinction and rescue equipment comprises one or more of: firefighting rockets; towage rockets; rescue rockets; fire extinguishant spray equipment; a window-breaking system. The present fire extinguishing system includes multiple types of firefighting rockets, such as firefighting rockets, towage rockets, and rescue rockets; provides for flexible firefighting strategies and multi-dimensional firefighting and rescue (including time dimension, task dimension, etc.); and is applicable to firefighting and rescue tasks in any variety of complex fire scenarios.
