The present invention provides a pharmaceutical composition in the form of a tablet, comprising a mixture of omeprazole, esomeprazole or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and calcium carbonate, and which rapidly disintegrates in the stomach, and a method for preparing the same. Since the pharmaceutical composition of the present invention can avoid performing the coating process of granules/pellets during manufacturing, the manufacturing process is simple and can be easily applied in the production site. In addition, the pharmaceutical composition according to the present invention can achieve rapid absorption of the drug by exhibiting rapid disintegration. In addition, the calcium carbonate contained in the pharmaceutical composition of the present invention exhibits high antacid power (acid neutralizing power), thereby inducing a rapid pH increase and minimizing the amount of calcium carbonate used, thereby reducing the size of the formulation.
