A method for visualizing the curvature of a root canal in three dimensions is provided. The method includes the steps of (a) displaying a CT image of the at least one tooth as CT image data of the at least one tooth, (b) a user using the CT image as a target of interest among the at least one tooth three-dimensionally rendering at least a portion of a root canal of the tooth of interest in response to selecting a tooth, and (c) visually visualizing at least one degree of curvature in at least a portion of the three-dimensionally rendered root canal.
