The present invention provides a composition comprising a GLP-1 receptor agonist and a glucagon receptor agonist, and uses thereof. In particular, the present invention provides a drug composition comprising an effective drug amount of a GLP-1 receptor agonist and a glucagon receptor agonist, wherein the GLP-1 receptor agonist and the glucagon receptor agonist are independent of each other.
