To provide an automatic slaughter process.SOLUTION: A slaughtered pig leg parts conveyor device is provided. The conveyor device includes a track and carrier movable along the track. Each carrier has one pig foot retaining assembly adapted so as to retain the pig leg part in a position suspended from the carrier. The retaining assembly includes a pig foot aperture adapted to receive the pig foot. The retaining assembly is rotatable about a vertical axis. The carrier is provided with a rotation or an indexing mechanism. The rotation or the indexing mechanism provides multiple predetermined angular positions of the retaining assembly about the vertical axis.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 21
