[Solution] A status-monitoring device 100 detects sensor signals 171A-171N for a plurality of vehicles 11A-11N equipped with vibrational acceleration sensors 17A-17N, extracts vehicle data that corresponds to the sensor signals from each of the detected sensor signals, extracts a single reference value on the basis of the extracted vehicle data, calculates the ratio of the vehicle data relative to the reference value, and determines whether or not there is any abnormal status among the vehicles on the basis of this calculation.
