A housing 4 for a tyre parameter monitoring system, e.g. a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), comprising: two arms 10, 12 that are shaped and spaced to provide fitting 18 for engaging a valve stem (34, fig. 3) of a clamp-in type valve (30, fig. 3) such that it is pivotably engaged with the housing with a variable the angle between the stem and the housing.
