Provided are a calculation method and system for dynamic rendering of an image having an infinite visual boundary, comprising: a largest spherical domain consisting of a plurality of square display regions, each square being a display; curve-mapping the content of a planar image on the spherical domain; each square display having a calculation relationship of three roles, i.e. each display screen establishing a tree calculation network, and completing calculation of dynamic rendering of the image having an infinite visual boundary; the three calculation relationships comprising: a primary calculation relationship, a secondary calculation relationship, and a tertiary calculation relationship; said primary calculation relationship is: calculating the image data to be rendered and outputted by a current display; said secondary calculation relationship is: calculating the virtual rendering region of a currently adjacent display; said tertiary calculation relationship is: calculating a rendered output not directly connected to the display. The invention can rely on current computing hardware and several screens to provide large-area stackable and extendable dynamic real-time infinite-boundary image rendering.
