The present invention relates to an amino alcohol-boron-BINOL composite as an intermediate and a method for preparing an optically active amino alcohol derivative using same and can provide a method for preparing an optically active amino alcohol derive with high optical purity and high yield by carrying out chiral resolution on a racemic amino alcohol by means of a boron compound and (R)- or (S)-BINOL.
