A computer vision-based method and system for monitoring the speed of intestinal lens removal in real time, which primarily indicates to a doctor the speed and stability with which a lens is being removed and alerts the doctor when the speed is too fast or an image is unsteady, which allows the inspecting doctor to control the lens removal speed to be within a safe range from start to finish, thereby improving the quality of the colonoscopy. A perceptual hash algorithm technique is used, wherein the stability of an intestinal lens image is analyzed in a moment or a period of time, and the speed with which the intestinal lens is removed is reflected in real time so as to alert a doctor during a colonoscopy to control the speed of lens removal to be within a safe range from start to finish, thus increasing the comprehensiveness and effectiveness of detection.
