Disclosed is a continuous desludging system for removing anode sludges in one or more electrolytic cells comprising a floor formed by at least one collector funnel having an inverted frustopyramidal shape with an outlet hole in the bottom end thereof, the electrolytic cell being in operation. The system comprises an evacuation duct for each collector funnel, fluidly connected to an accumulation-and-discharge pipe fluidly connected to an evacuation duct, with a valve for controlling evacuation and discharge; and a sludge accumulation container having an arrangement and volume to receive the discharge from the accumulation-and-discharge pipe. The container is also designed to allow the electrolytic solution to be separated from the evacuated anode sludge and a flow of the separated electrolytic solution to be directed by means of a suction-expulsion pump and at least one recirculation duct connected to the circuit of weak electrolyte.
