The present invention relates to a composition for the prevention or treatment of atopic dermatitis, the composition comprising, as an active ingredient, bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis LM1017, and more specifically provided is a composition for the prevention or treatment of atopic dermatitis, the composition comprising, as an active ingredient, a novel bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis LM1017 which adjusts the NF-κB signal transduction pathway, and thus inhibits the expression of proinflammatory cytokines.
