The present invention relates to a method for creating a pinning center on superconductor strip /thin-films in a controlled manner. The present invention particularly relates to a method that allows generating artificial pinning centers having different geometrical shapes on superconductor strip/thin-film by means of a laser system, thereby enhancing the critical current density.
