A method of calculating an RCS for a target according to an embodiment of the present invention, the RCS measurement signal receiving a reflection signal reflected by the target; determining an azimuth of the target, a height of the target, and a frequency of the reflected signal using the reflected signal; performing IFFT using the azimuth angle of the target, the height of the target, and the frequency of the reflected signal; removing clutter from the first data for the EMG generated as a result of the IFFT; performing FFT using the clutter-free first data; and calculating an RCS for the azimuth based on second data generated as a result of the FFT.
