Monoclonal antibodies that specifically bind to eosinophil-derived neurotoxins and uses thereof

The present invention relates to a monoclonal antibody that specifically binds to eosinophil-derived neurotoxin (EDN). The monoclonal antibody “Anti-6C5” or “Anti-14C10” of the present invention recognizes EDN as an antigen. As it was confirmed that it binds specifically to EDN, it can be usefully used in the diagnosis, treatment and information provision method of EDN-derived wheezing and asthma.
