Disclosed are an apparatus and method for analyzing interference between a time division duplex communication system and a heterogeneous system. The interference analysis method includes: requesting generation of an uplink or a downlink to the time division duplex communication system according to an uplink ratio and a downlink ratio of the time division duplex communication system; Receiving a signal-to-noise ratio for an uplink or downlink between a base station and a terminal from a time division duplex communication system generating an uplink or downlink; calculating an average data rate in an interference-free state based on a signal-to-noise ratio for an uplink or a downlink; requesting operation of a heterogeneous system; receiving a signal-to-noise ratio for an uplink or downlink between a base station and a terminal interfered by the heterogeneous system from a time division duplex communication system; recalculating an average data rate in an interfered state based on a signal-to-noise ratio for uplink or downlink between the interfered base station and the terminal; and comparing the average transmission rate in the absence of interference with the average transmission rate in the interference state to evaluate the interference effect of heterogeneous systems on the time division duplex communication system.
