SUNFLOWER SEED COMPOSITION RICH IN PLEASANT HORMONE PRECURSOR AND ANTIDEPRESSANT USE THEREOF

Disclosed is a sunflower seed composition rich in a pleasant hormone precursor. The sunflower seeds used in the composition are rich in tryptophan and have a high ratio of tryptophan to neutral amino acids. After the sunflower seeds are subjected to degreasing and chlorogenic acid removal treatment, some glucose and vitamins which can increase the glycemic index and promote the absorption and conversion of tryptophan, and omega-3 fatty acid beneficial for nerve activities are added. The composition can improve the concentration of monoamine neurotransmitters, i.e. serotonin and dopamine, in the brain, and has the functions of improvement and treatment of depression.
