An optical fiber signal mode conversion device, an optical fiber signal mode conversion method, and an optical fiber transmission system, relating the technical field of optical communications. The optical fiber signal mode conversion device comprises a non-single-mode optical fiber and a single-mode optical fiber; the non-single-mode optical fiber comprises a first mode channel and a second mode channel; the single-mode optical fiber forms a first coupling region and a second coupling region with the non-single-mode optical fiber along the transmission direction of a signal in the non-single-mode optical fiber; the effective refractive index of a basic mode signal of the single-mode optical fiber in the first coupling region is equal to the effective refractive index of a first mode signal, and the first mode signal can be coupled to a basic mode channel of the single-mode optical fiber; the effective refractive index of the basic mode signal of the single-mode optical fiber in the second coupling region is equal to the effective refractive index of a second mode signal, and the basic mode signal of the single-mode optical fiber can be coupled to the second mode channel. Therefore, mode conversion is implemented, and optical long-distance transmission capacity is improved.
