ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY SILICONE BREAKWATER FOR PROTECTING THE MARINE ENVIRONMENT

The invention relates to silicone breakwaters, the height of which is controlled according to the desired placement depth and the width of which is 35 cm. The ends of the breakwaters are thermally joined, and a strong belt of nylon connects metal tracks on the seabed, which are anchored to the seabed by strong metal hooks to stabilise the movement. The tracks are arranged in parallel rows, each row being 2 m from the next, said rows being 50 m or more or less from the coast, according to the marine coast study and the location to be protected. The resulting breakwater allows the waves to break and prevents solid and liquid waste from reaching the coast, prevents jellyfish from entering therethrough and prevents sharks from passing therethrough, owing to image reflection on the transparent silicone barrier. The breakwater can be assembled around oil rigs to prevent oil from spilling into the sea and being swept away, polluting the sea.
