PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormality sign detection system with which it is possible to create an appropriate class set even when the number of normal classes and a normal range are unknown.SOLUTION: An abnormality sign detection system comprises: a feature quantity extraction unit 120 for creating a segment feature vector from the state detection data of machinery and equipment to be detected that is recorded in a data recording unit 110; a class set creation unit 150 for determining whether or not each segment is normal on the basis of a plurality of created segment feature vectors tracing back a given time from the current time of day and creating a determiner for discriminating between normal and abnormal as a class set; and a normal class set creation unit 170 for evaluating, using each of the created determiners, the segment feature vector that was used in creating the determiner and excluding an off-determiner in case of not being normal, and thereby determining whether or not the class set is normal and designating a set of remaining determiners after exclusion as a normal class set H.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
