Embodiments of this disclosure disclose a video abstract generation method and apparatus, a computing device, and a storage medium. The method in the embodiments of this disclosure includes: obtaining, according to a selected searching condition, a target searching condition for generating a video abstract, searching a video database for structured image data meeting the target searching condition, the structured image data being data of target tracking sequence stored in a structured manner, and performing video synthesis on the structured image data, to generate the video abstract.
