Provided in the present invention is a self-organizing network communication-based product activation authentication method, comprising: according to a network access application type of a user product accessing a network, selecting an application type needed by the user product accessing the network from an existing product categorization system: application types comprise a user product newly accessing the network not having completed activation, a user product accessing the network having completed activation and not having completed authentication, and a user product accessing the network having completed activation authentication; if the user product accessing the network has a requirement for the product to access the network, generating a requirement list for the product applying to access the network; determining a product type required by the user product accessing the network, product types comprising activation and authentication; according to a product category of each product requiring network access on the requirement list for the product applying for network access, performing activation of a security module for the product requiring network access, or performing authentication of the product requiring network access by means of the security module. The present method can control a network access scope of a communications device, thereby blocking a path to illicit acquisition of communications information, increasing confidentiality and reliability of self-organizing network communications.
