DISTRIBUTED LOCAL DNS SYSTEM AND DOMAIN NAME INQUIRY METHOD

Provided are a distributed local DNS system and a domain name inquiry method. Said system comprises central DNS service and local DNS service deployed on multiple nodes. Server nodes corresponding to local DNS service can provide domain name resolution service to containers on their own nodes. Upon receiving a DNS inquiry request, first, inquiring response result in the node buffer; if a response result is found, directly returning the response result to a client end; if no response result is found, inquiring with the central DNS service, obtaining by means of the central DNS service the IP address corresponding to the DNS inquiry request, and transmitting same to a client end. Services on a cloud platform is therefore less dependent on the platform central DNS system. Upper layer services do not need to cross servers to access basic DNS service. Local DNS service also supports automatic configuration and performs automatic switching when malfunctions occur, thereby alleviating the impact of DNS system malfunctions on services.
