A cold shoe installation assembly (10) is to be installed in a photographing apparatus to serve as an accessory connection device. One side surface of the photographing apparatus is provided with an engagement unit for mounting on a shoulder strap. The cold shoe installation assembly (10) comprises a cold shoe plate (12) and a locking member (14) connected to one end of the cold shoe plate (12). The cold shoe plate (12) comprises a flat portion (16), an installation portion (18) and a connection portion (20) connected between the flat portion (16) and the installation portion (18). The locking member (14) is connected to the installation portion (18), and is engaged with the engagement unit for mounting on a shoulder strap to fix the cold shoe plate (12) to the photographing apparatus.
