The invention relates to a method for producing evaporator units (10) as a constituent part of inhalers (100), characterized by the steps of: a): providing a flexible conductor-card material (11) comprising a multiplicity of construction locations (12) for individual evaporator units (10), wherein the flexible conductor-card material (11) optionally has been or is prestructured at least with conductor tracks (13, 14) of a predetermined position and/or path and/or with prepunchings (15, 16, 24) for each construction location (12), b) providing and placing on the or each construction location (12) at least one heating element (17) that is optionally electrically connected or connectable to the conductor tracks (13, 14), and c) at least partially covering each construction location (12) with a sealing material (18) for forming a partial encapsulation (19) for each evaporator unit (10) formed, wherein the sealing material (18) is applied in such a way that the encapsulation (19), formed from sealing material (18), covers each heating element (17) at least in a peripheral region, while leaving a heating area (20) exposed, at least on an upper side (O) of the flexible conductor-card material (11), and at least the outer areas of the encapsulation (19) that are facing away from the conductor-card material (11) and/or the heating element (17) form sealing areas (21). The invention also relates to evaporator units (10) and evaporator assemblies (44), evaporator cartridges (39) and inhalers (100) with such evaporator units (10).
