PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet pickup failure prevention mode switching device for switching a sheet pickup failure prevention mode in accordance with a charging system.;SOLUTION: The sheet pickup failure prevention mode switching device comprises: user existence detection means which detects whether or not a user exists at a predetermined place; and printing execution control means which selects a first printing execution control mode for executing printing regardless of the existence of the user at the predetermined place for printing when a charging system applied to printing is a vendor charging system, and which selects a second printing execution control mode for executing printing in a period in which the user exists at the predetermined place and a following timeout period, and for not executing printing before the existence of the user at the predetermined place, and for stopping printing after the lapse of the timeout period when the charging system applied to printing is a non-vendor charging system, and which applies the selected printing execution control mode to printing.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT
