A free run (10) to change the transmission behaviour of a planetary engine for a vehicle propulsion is provided with a first locking circuit (16) with a first ring (12),a second ring (20) which is relatively rotating to the first ring (12) and has a second lock contour (14),the first locking circuit (16) and the second locking circuit (20) intervening tiltable locking bodies (18) and a switching element (26) for folding the locking bodies (18),with the switching element (26) in a locking position securing the locking bodies (18) with the first locking edge (16) and with the second locking edge (20) securely attached, in a free-running position allows one-sided free-running and in an inactive position keeps the blocking bodies (18) suspended to the second ring (14) at the first ring (12). By the intentionally obtainable blocking of the planets triebes can be achieved by means of three different switching positions (10) a simple and tree-saving adaptation of the transmission behaviour of a planetary engine of a motor vehicle to different operating situations.
