The invention relates to a system for controlling the steering of an agricultural machine, which comprises a mechanism designed and configured to perform a supplementary control relating to the fine adjustment of the steering of the machine during work in the field. More particularly, this system comprises a multi-functional control (100) provided with a lever (100a) and is configured to control the driving of the machine (10) on a trajectory. In addition, it has a processing unit (101) configured to receive and process the signals corresponding to the displacement movements of said multi-functional control (100), and at least one steering assembly (102) configured to coordinate and execute the signals from the processing unit (101) with the mechanisms and devices relating to the movement of the machine (10), the aforementioned multi-functional control (100) comprising at least one supplementary controller (103) configured to adjust the steering of the machine through increments that represent angles (a) that vary between 0.5° and 2° on each signal from said supplementary controller (103). The present invention also relates to a method for adjusting the steering of a machine and, in addition, to an agricultural machine.
