A protective device for a double cone dryer (3). The protective device comprises two fence mechanisms (1) and a locking mechanism (2), wherein the fence mechanisms (1) are arranged on supports on two sides of the double cone dryer (3), and the two fence mechanisms (1) are connected by means of the locking mechanism (2) to enclose a rotation space for accommodating the double cone dryer (3). Each fence mechanism (1) comprises a transverse barrier rod (11), a fixing seat (12) and a limiting switch (13), wherein the fixing seat (12) is fixedly arranged on the double cone dryer (3), one end of the transverse barrier rod (11) is rotatably arranged on the fixing seat (12), and the limiting switch (13) is arranged on the fixing seat (12) and used for sensing the transverse barrier rod (11).
