Disclosed are an airborne nitrogen generator integrating air flushing and membrane separation and a method of use therefor, which belong to the technical field of aviation systems. The airborne nitrogen generator can effectively increase oxygen partial pressure difference across a membrane filament, enhance oxygen permeation rate, thus more readily separating oxygen and nitrogen in the body of gas inside the membrane filament. Moreover, pretreatment of air is simple. According to the present invention, a designated air introduction pipe in communication with the exterior for introducing flushing air is inserted into a conventional airborne nitrogen generator employing a hollow fiber membrane, and a membrane filament of the hollow fiber membrane is flushed upon air being introduced. As the hollow fiber membrane is flushed with air, oxygen partial pressure outside the membrane filament decreases constantly, and accordingly a pressure difference across the membrane filament increases, which accelerates the separation of oxygen and nitrogen inside the membrane filament. By adding the air introduction pipe in a hollow fiber membrane separation device, the separation efficiency of oxygen and nitrogen is increased, and continuous output of nitrogen in high concentration is accelerated. In addition, pretreatment of air is simple, ambient air at normal temperature and pressure can be directly used, or air can be introduced from an aircraft cabin environment.
