The invention relates to an integrated filter based on coupled resonators, which comprises an inlet waveguide (1), an outlet waveguide (7), a plurality of Bragg reflectors (5), a plurality of Fabry-Perot cavities (6), two modal converters (2) and a plurality of adapters (4). The two modal converters (2) vary adiabatically between a first width (w1) and a second width (w2), while the plurality of adapters (4) connect the plurality of Bragg reflectors (5) to the plurality of Fabry-Perot cavities (6) and to the two modal converters (2), by means of alternating sections with at least two different effective indices. The second width (w2) of the plurality of Bragg reflectors (5) and the associated forbidden band thereof help to optimise the device with respect to other solutions based on narrow guides and/or weak gratings, thereby improving the performance of the integrated filter.
