SYSTEM AND NON-INVASIVE SELF-CLEANING METHOD ALLOWING CONTINUOUS REMOVAL OF SOLID WASTE IN FARMING PONDS FOR AQUACULTURE

Disclosed is a system and a self-cleaning method that allow the continuous removal of solid waste in farming ponds by generating a vortex for concentrating and suctioning waste by means of the rotary movement of the body of water at different rotational speeds. The system and method are used in aquaculture without needing to modify the existing ponds and allows self-cleaning in farming ponds, even when the aspect ratio (D/h) between the pond diameter (D) and the useful water height (h) is less than that needed to achieve the fluid-dynamic conditions that allow a conventional self-cleaning effect to be generated, and which allows self-cleaning in the farming ponds, even when the water speed required for the safe and healthy farming of the farmed species is less than the speed needed to achieve the fluid-dynamic conditions that allow a conventional self-cleaning effect to be generated.
