The purpose of the present invention is to eliminate the need for a resource design process required for a user to use machine learning service, and thereby reduce the burden of time and cost imposed on the user.　This machine learning service device is provided with: a requirement specification function unit (11) which specifies a desired task, model, amount of processing, and performance for machine learning; and a resource design unit (12) which uses the task, model, and amount of processing specified by the requirement specification function unit to predict, via machine learning, attainable performances associated with a plurality of resource settings, and selects, on the basis of the prediction results, a resource setting that satisfies the specified performance.
