Problem: increase of cost in piping system and reduction of water quality caused by dead leg.The piping system 41 includes a main pipe 15 through which water supplied by the supply source 11 flows and a plurality of branch pipes 30 branched from the main pipe 15.For each of the plurality of branch pipes 30, the flow rate of water flowing through the main pipe 15 at the connecting portion of the branch pipe 30 is determined as an individual minimum velocity based on the prediction of the use of the piping system 41, and the maximum minimum flow rate is calculated as the upper limit of the diameter of the branch pipe.
