A method for the computerized development of the user's speed reading skills is disclosed. The method includes steps for prompting a user to perform exercises using the user device, each exercise being generated automatically based on an exercise sample received from a server and an exercise configuration set for the user. Using the server, the saved results are compared with the criteria for the success of skills development; the configuration of each exercise is corrected, taking into account the achievement of the criteria for the success of the development of skills in such a way that the adjusted configurations of the exercises are aimed at strengthening those user skills that turned out to be less developed when comparing the saved results.
