PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide protective blankets adequately protecting spacecraft against space debris and adequately protecting an electronic apparatus from EMI.SOLUTION: Protective blankets 14 include a plurality of sheets of material operatively coupled together to define the protective blanket 14. The plurality of sheets include at least one sheet composed of carbon nanotube reinforced composite material and at least one sheet composed of a different material. Methods of assembling the protective blankets 14 include layering the plurality of sheets and operatively coupling together the plurality of sheets. Spacecraft 10 include a body and the protective blanket 14 operatively coupled to the body. Methods of assembling the spacecraft 10 include coupling the protective blanket 14 to the body of the spacecraft.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
