To provide a plant raising system that can accelerate the growth degree of plants and increase yield by measuring leaf temperature by using a radiation thermometer and controlling the raising environment of plants based on measured leaf temperature.SOLUTION: A plant raising system that raises plants under a raising environment where a light period and a dark period are alternately repeated, comprises: a radiation thermometer which measures the leaf temperature of plants; and a control part which control the raising environment of plants based on measured leaf temperature, in which the control part controls the raising environment of plants such that the average temperature of leaf temperature in a partial period or a whole period in a dark period becomes equal to or higher than the average temperature of leaf temperature in a partial period or a whole period in a light period.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
