Conductive textile with custom placement conformal to the embroidery pattern

A system and method are provided for an interactive textile comprising conductive fibers. The interactive textile is a touch comprising a flexible substrate, an embroidery thread pattern defining decorative features on a first surface of the flexible substrate, and a set of conductive threads coupled to a second surface of the flexible substrate in corresponding regions of at least a portion of the embroidery thread pattern. It may include an input sensor. The conductive thread set forms a conductive thread pattern on a second surface that is conformal to a decorative feature on the first surface in a portion of the embroidery thread pattern.
