AR Holographic Display using Optical Waveguide and HOE

A technology for realizing an AR optical waveguide display that can show holographic images with a small volume and simple system configuration using HOE is provided. A holographic display according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a light source module for irradiating a beam; an optical waveguide through which the irradiated beam is incident and proceeds; a plurality of holographic optical elements (HOEs) that propagate inside the optical waveguide while totally reflecting the beam incident on the optical waveguide; and a modulator that expresses a holographic image on a beam that is being propagated, and advances it into the optical waveguide while totally reflecting it. Accordingly, it is possible to implement an optical waveguide display that shows AR holography using an optical waveguide and HOE in a compact and simple system.
