The present invention relates to a tool (1) for implanting a radiofrequency identification RFID tag (43) intended to be mounted on a tool-holder of a tool for machining metal parts (200), said tool (1) comprising: - a standard fixing device (3) configured to cooperate with an end-fitting of the tool-holder, - a device (13) for implanting a radiofrequency identification RFID tag (43) comprising: - a means for inserting a radiofrequency identification RFID tag (43) into a recess (202) of a metal part (200), and - a reader/recorder (40) configured to communicate with the radiofrequency identification RFID tag (43) and to record data associated with said metal part (200).
