[Solution] An alicyclic epoxy acrylate compound represented by formula (1) wherein A represents oxygen and a curable composition containing the alicyclic epoxy acrylate compound are used: [wherein either one of R1 and R2 represents a (meth)acryloyloxy group, and the other of R1 and R2 represents a hydrogen atom; R3 to R20 are independently selected from a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group and an alkoxy group; A represents an oxygen atom, or A is absent and a carbon atom to which R8 is bonded and a carbon atom to which R9 is bonded together form a double bond].
