The present invention relates to a hangover relieving and liver function improvement composition comprising a barley sprout extract and a method for preparing the same. The barley sprout extract constituting the composition of the present invention is particularly extracted with microbubbles, and this extraction method has the advantage that it can be directly applied to food or medicine without a separate post-treatment because the elution of unnecessary components other than the active ingredient is small. In addition, it is safe, easy to take, and useful because it can be stored for a long time. Furthermore, the composition of the present invention can be usefully used as a health functional food, beverage and additive for hangover relief and liver function improvement.
