PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-dimensional hardness distribution measuring method having more excellent measurement accuracy. SOLUTION: A step of cutting the surface of a member to be measured flat, a step of imaging the cut surface, and a step of pushing an indenter for a hardness test into a plurality of points on the imaged surface. This is a three-dimensional hardness distribution measurement method that repeats. In the cutting step, the cutting depth of the surface is controlled to a predetermined constant amount, and in the pushing step, the pushing depth of the indenter at the plurality of points is controlled to a predetermined constant amount.
