The present invention discloses an apparatus and method for verifying security threats during SSL communication on an Android platform. SSL certificate verification evaluation device in the Android platform according to an aspect of the present invention, an APK file upload unit for uploading an APK file of an application to be verified; an analysis unit that decompiles and analyzes the uploaded APK file; and a security threat possibility determination unit that determines whether the analyzed APK file threatens security during SSL communication.
