PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To synthesize a chabazite-type zeolite that is high in silica-alumina ratio and crystallinity without using an organic structure-regulating agent.SOLUTION: A method for producing a high silica chabazite-type zeolite comprises applying acid treatment to a chabazite-type zeolite having the following (a), (b) characteristics: (a) silica-alumina ratio (SiO/AlOmolar ratio) of 6.5 or more and (b) a relative crystallinity of 100% or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
